An important feature of the Mercedes-Benz Van range is the CDI diesel engines. These owe their outstanding cost efficiency to low fuel consumption, long service life and unusually long service intervals.

Vito uses the ASSYST service computer to calculate oil-change intervals on a flexible basis according to the actual use of the vehicle. The average interval across all Vito engines stands at 23,000 km or 12 months.

The service intervals for the Sprinter range are every 30,000 km or every 12 months (whichever occurs first).

Parts Support

Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific National Parts Distribution Centre provides support for all Mercedes-Benz Vans dealers and repair agents across Australia, ensuring customers are back on the road as soon as possible.  The following snap shot shows the scale of our parts operation:

  • Facility size of 24,000m2 located in Laverton Victoria
  • Approximately 91,000 lines of parts are stored there
  • Approximately 4,750 line items are shipped per day to dealers and customers
  • Ability to airfreight parts with next day delivery to most areas and approximately
    2 days for remote locations in most circumstances*

Dealers can also view each others stock holdings via a real time network to enable them to source
a part in the quickest possible time.
